Johnson County KS:
§ Sales (YTD): ▲+32.8%
§ Avg. Home Sale Price (YTD): ▼ -1.0% to $232,102
§ New Listings YTD: ▲ +13.2% to 981
Jackson County MO:
§ Sales(YTD): ▲+7.3%
§ Avg. Home Sale Price(YTD): ▲+1.9% to $104,992
§ New Listings (YTD): ▲ +8.2% to 1,111
Jackson County still suffering from more foreclosures than Johnson County but it is encouraging to see increased activity so early in the year. Overall for the five county area that Heartland MLS serves, home sales are up 15% over last year at this time, and the average home price is up 2.5%.
